About Irish Woodcraft
Welcome to Irish Woodcraft, where traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary design. Based in the heart of Ireland, we specialize in creating bespoke wooden furniture and home accessories that reflect the rich heritage and natural beauty of our land. Our passion for woodcraft is evident in every piece we produce, combining time-honoured techniques with innovative design to create timeless and unique products for your home.
Our Story
Founded in 2005, Irish Woodcraft was born out of a deep appreciation for the natural resources and skilled craftsmanship of Ireland. Our founder, a master woodworker with over 30 years of experience, envisioned a company that would not only celebrate the beauty of Irish wood but also support local artisans and promote sustainable practices. Today, we are proud to have a talented team of craftspeople who share our vision and dedication to quality.
Our Craft
At Irish Woodcraft, we believe that every piece of wood tells a story. We source our materials from sustainably managed forests across Ireland, selecting only the finest timber to ensure durability and beauty. Our skilled craftsmen use a blend of traditional hand tools and modern machinery to create pieces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Whether it’s a handcrafted dining table, a bespoke bookcase, or a one-of-a-kind kitchen dresser, each item is made with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. Our custom design service allows you to collaborate with our team to create a piece that perfectly suits your space and style.
Our Commitment
Sustainability is at the core of everything we do. We are committed to minimizing our environmental impact by using eco-friendly finishes, reducing waste, and supporting reforestation efforts. We also believe in the importance of supporting local communities and preserving the rich tradition of Irish craftsmanship.

Bespoke with Love
Although you can buy many of our products directly from our web shop, we like to engage with our customers and encourage you to not just settle for what you see on the high street, or in our web shop, but let us know what you actually want, a product or piece of furniture that is unique to you and fits your needs. Why settle for anything less.
Care About Environment
Although many companies say that they do their bit for the environment, we actually do! We only use FSC certified hardwoods from sustainable sources as well as sponsor the replanting of thousands of trees every year.
All of our composite materials are also sourced from sustainable sources and only by composite materials that are made by Coillte, the Irish National Forestry service.
A Proud Member of Guaranteed Irish
We are delighted and proud to announce that Irish Woodcraft are now members of ‘Guaranteed Irish’!
Being part of such an established and well-respected organisation that champions Irish businesses and jobs is important to us. As an Irish furniture maker and joinery, it is important for us to make our customers aware that when they buy a product from us, that they are buying Irish and supporting the local economy and community.
This has probably never been as important as right now, given what we have all been through in the last two years.
“Guaranteed Irish symbol is the national symbol of trust in business in Ireland. The official Guaranteed Irish licenced mark is awarded to businesses based in Ireland that support sustainable jobs, contribute to our local communities, and are committed to Irish provenance.”
To us, the Guaranteed Irish symbol is synonymous with quality and will help our customers to see that we differentiate from the low quality products that have flooded the market in recent years which are stocked in the majority of the well-known retail chains.
